Not every soap we create has a story, but this one does...


As a favourite holiday destination, the beautiful Blacks Beach in Mackay, Queeensland, Australia provides the perfect subject for a true artisan soap, one which has become a PKM Creations top three best seller.


Our Blue Pacific premium artisan soap was inspired by the wonderful view from the beachfront grounds at Comfort Resort Blue Pacific and by the feeling of pure enjoyment and relaxation one has when taking in such a view.



 
 
 
The greenish-blue of the ocean with the deeper swirls reminds one of exactly what can be seen when sitting and relaxing on the beachfront.  The white caps represent just how choppy the ocean can get along our coastline...especially when it is cyclone season and we are subjected to some wild storms.
 

 

 
 
When it came to naming this particular soap, the choice really wasn't difficult...in fact there was absolutely no question what it had to be called. 

The fragrance of Blue Pacific is crisp and fresh, but not overwhelming to the senses.  Top fragrance notes include citrus, black currant and pineapple with middle notes of honeydew, muguet and water lily.  These combine superbly with base notes of vetiver, amber and mulberry to produce a fragrance that is perfectly suited to men, however equally adored by women.

Why a premium soap?  Not only have we poured a great deal of artistic intent into the creation of this beautiful soap, we have ensured that its beauty will be matched by quality and pure luxuriousness.  Like all of our handcrafted soaps, Blue Pacific contains our five base oils of olive, coconut, palm, canola and macadamia, and to ensure a luxuriously rich and fluffy lather, castor oil stars as the sixth premium oil in our recipe.  Castor oil moisturizes, soothes and provides a protective barrier for the skin...often a much needed remedy following a day at the beach!
